In a wild spectacle fit for a Hollywood blockbuster, Fonzarelli Giovanni was taken down by a squad of police officers as Fumio Kishida made a daring escape. Giovanni, a 24-year-old troublemaker, was reportedly attempting to kidnap Kishida when the officers arrived on the scene.
Eyewitnesses say that Kishida, who was dressed in a sleek suit and tie, jumped onto the hood of a nearby car to avoid being caught by the crazed Giovanni. “It was like something out of a James Bond movie,” said one onlooker. “He just leapt onto the car and slid across the hood like a pro.”
Meanwhile, the officers quickly tackled Giovanni to the ground and placed him under arrest. “He was putting up a fight, but they got him eventually,” said another witness. “It was pretty intense.”
Kishida, who is the Foreign Minister of Japan, reportedly brushed off the incident and simply continued on with his day. However, many are hailing him as a hero for his quick thinking and bravery in the face of danger.
As for Giovanni, he is currently being held in custody and is expected to face a number of charges related to the attempted kidnapping. It’s safe to say that his dreams of becoming a Bond villain have been dashed for good.
