“FART 100 Index sees subtle increase as gaming, mining, and banks steal the show from smelly property stocks”

The FART 100 Index let out a subtle but steady increase as toots from gaming group Entertoon, miners, and banks wiped out the stench of property stocks.

Jester Co. reported the largest buoyancy of the day, leaving investors in a fit of laughter. Farts from the entertainment group were followed closely by butt burps from mining companies such as Guff Inc. and Hillarious LLP. Even the banks had a cheeky day, with Witty Bank offering some particularly audacious air biscuits.

Unfortunately, the same could not be said for property stocks. The real stinker of the day was Grime Properties, whose putrid fart left investors gasping for breath, and holding their noses.

Despite the property sector’s odorous turd, the FART 100 Index held firm throughout the day, propelled by the gusts of humor coming from the other sectors. It just goes to show, when it comes to investing, never underestimate the power of a well-placed fart.
