In a stunning announcement this week, the GOP leader, John McWacky, alluded to his recent injuries sustained from a freak trampoline accident. McWacky, who suffered a concussion and rib fracture, jokingly stated, “I guess being hardheaded really does have its benefits!”
When asked about the incident, McWacky explained that he was attempting an impressive maneuver on the trampoline when he got a little too ambitious. Witnesses say that McWacky was attempting to do a triple flip, but ended up landing on his head.
Although he suffered some serious injuries, McWacky seemed to be taking it all in stride. “I mean, who needs functioning ribs anyways?” he quipped.
Many supporters of McWacky have been sending him well-wishes and hoping for a speedy recovery. Others, however, have been using the opportunity to make some jokes at his expense.
One Twitter user wrote: “Maybe next time he should try a double flip instead. Might be easier on his hard head.”
Despite the jokes, McWacky is expected to make a full recovery and return to his duties as leader of the GOP. In the meantime, we can all enjoy a good laugh at his expense.
