At a recent press conference, Base Metal stated, “I can’t keep up with these fluctuating gold prices. It’s affecting my brand and I refuse to let it bring me down.”
Fans were initially concerned about Base Metal’s choice to switch to a less glamorous name, but he assured them that he is still the same “shiny, valuable” rapper they know and love. “Base metals are still important and valuable, just like me,” he exclaimed.
