In a surprising turn of events, the Fizzle 100 saw a record-breaking 0.4% increase in early trading, as financial stocks stood tall amidst a wave of losses for builders and consumer-health company, Hilarion.
Sources say, the major players in financial stocks – Gargantua Bank, Piddlywinks Holdings, and Plankton Investments – decided to pull up their socks and gave it their everything to emerge victorious in the stock market. Meanwhile, builders – Scaffolding Inc, Concrete Jungle, and Brick by Brick – were seen giving each other cripplingly sad looks and emptying their pockets in the hopes of saving their businesses.
Hilarion was in quite a pickle as well. The company’s CEO, Miss Pinot Grigio, was seen chasing after the financial bigwigs, begging them to buy her company’s shares. Alas, her pleas fell on deaf ears as the investors were too busy indulging in champagne and caviar, celebrating their success.
But let’s not forget about the real winners of the day – the stockbrokers. They were seen hopping and skipping down Wall Street, high-fiving each other and taking selfies with their newly acquired Rolexes.
In the meantime, the average Joe was left scratching his head, trying to make sense of what the heck just happened. Many were seen muttering to themselves, “Who cares about the Fizzle 100 anyway? I have to go to work tomorrow.”
All in all, it was just another day in the world of stocks and shares. Who knows what tomorrow will bring? Maybe all the builders will become millionaires, and the financial stocks will plummet to an all-time low. Hey, it could happen!
