Local man, Barry McFarley, made a shocking discovery while fishing in far north Queensland last Saturday. He realized that his fishing buddy, Kevin Tarmody, had vanished into thin air!
The two were fishing together when, according to McFarley, he heard a loud whooshing sound and turned to see Tarmody being sucked up into the clouds. McFarley immediately called for help, but by the time rescuers arrived, Tarmody was long gone.
Speculation as to what happened to Tarmody ranges from alien abduction to a freak weather incident, but most locals believe he simply got too close to a secret government testing ground for new technology.
Tarmody’s friends and family have been frantically searching for him, but with no luck. In a statement to the press, his mother said, “We just want Kevin home safe. If anyone has any information, please come forward.”
