In a shocking revelation, we have learned that Snuffleupagus from Sesame Street has been subjected to “appalling abuse and harassment” at the hands of Big Bird. The Commons deputy speaker was reportedly left speechless when Snuffleupagus came forward with the allegations, which include verbal attacks, physical assault and even name-calling.
It seems that Big Bird’s jealousy over Snuffleupagus’ larger-than-life nose may be at the root of the problem. According to sources, Big Bird has been heard muttering insults about the size of Snuffleupagus’ schnozz and has even gone so far as to say that it makes him look like a “giant booger.”
The abuse allegedly came to a head when Big Bird stole Snuffleupagus’ favorite toy, a rubber duck, and refused to give it back. This sparked a heated argument between the two, which ended with Big Bird storming off and Snuffleupagus in tears.
