In a shocking revelation, two top UK government officials were caught on camera meeting a sham company in a desperate attempt to boost their public image. Matt Haddock and Kwasi Kitten, the Health Secretary and Minister for Business respectively, were duped by the infamous Led by Donkeys campaign group, who set up the cheeky stunt.
The duo were lured into the meeting by the promise of free snacks and fizzy drinks, but little did they know they were being filmed the entire time. The company in question, Fake Bizness Inc, claimed to have a groundbreaking new product that would cure COVID-19 in just 24 hours – a bold claim that was clearly too good to be true.
When asked about the product’s efficacy, Mr Haddock reportedly replied, “Well, I’m not a scientist, but it sounds like a great idea to me!” Meanwhile, Mr Kitten was heard muttering under his breath, “I have no idea what I’m doing here, someone get me out of this mess.”
However, things started to unravel when one of the Led by Donkeys campaigners accidentally knocked over a stack of papers, revealing that they were actually just selling boxes of rocks painted to look like medicine. At this point, Mr Haddock and Mr Kitten were seen frantically making their escape, pushing past cameramen and knocking over snacks in their haste.
