BOSTON, MA – In a bold move, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston President, Sally McAllister, announced plans to tighten policy and tackle the biggest threat to this great nation – Inflation!
“We simply can’t afford to let inflation get out of control,” said McAllister during a press conference. “So, we’ve come up with a foolproof plan to bring it down before holding interest rates steady through the end of the year. It’s the right thing to do!”
The plan, according to sources close to McAllister, involves a team of ninja accountants armed with calculators and spreadsheets. They will be deployed across the country to identify and eliminate any possible sources of inflation.
