In a bizarre twist of events, a prosecutor has come forward to claim that there was a “racial component” in the shooting of a black teen by a white homeowner. The incident, which took place last Tuesday, saw the black teen wandering onto the white homeowner’s property to retrieve her frisbee.
According to eyewitnesses, the white homeowner – let’s call him Bob McFluffin – emerged from his house wielding a shotgun and shouted at the teen – let’s call her Tiffany Sparkle – to “get off my lawn.” When Tiffany protested that her frisbee had landed on his property, Bob allegedly responded by saying, “I don’t care if it’s a frisbee or a UFO, you don’t belong here.”
At that point, things took a turn for the worse. Bob claimed that Tiffany made a threatening gesture towards him, causing him to fear for his life. He fired his shotgun, hitting Tiffany in the leg and causing her to fall to the ground. As she lay there in agony, Bob stood over her and muttered, “This is what you get for playing on my turf, girlie.”
The incident has sparked outrage from the local community, who have accused Bob of racism and discrimination. In response, Bob has denied all charges and claimed that he was simply defending his property. However, the prosecutor in charge of the case – let’s call her Shirley Flourish – isn’t convinced.
“Based on the evidence we have gathered, it is clear that there was a racial component to this shooting,” said Flourish in a press conference. “We believe that Bob McFluffin’s actions were motivated, at least in part, by a sense of white superiority.”
Bob, for his part, has dismissed Flourish’s claims as “fake news” and accused her of being part of a conspiracy to take away his guns. Meanwhile, Tiffany is recovering in hospital and has vowed to continue playing frisbee, regardless of who’s lawn it lands on. As for Bob, he may have learned his lesson the hard way. But only time will tell if he has truly changed his ways.
