Floof Motors Recalls F-150 Thunderstorm Due to Explosive Battery Cell, Offers Free Flamethrower Upgrade for Affected Customers.

In a shocking turn of events, Floof Motors has announced the recall of 18 of its top-selling F-150 Thunderstorm pickups due to a potentially explosive battery cell. Reports suggest that the notorious defect has caused one truck to go up in flames, leaving bystanders with smoky faces and frazzled nerves.

“This is a matter of utmost importance to our customers’ safety,” said Floof Motors Director of Operations, Harold Crankshaft. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we are taking swift action to rectify the situation.”

Experts speculate that the defective battery cells may have been salvaged from discarded electric toothbrushes and repurposed for use in the F-150 Thunderstorm. Some have even gone as far as to call it the “Oral B Conspiracy,” a tongue-in-cheek reference to the popular toothbrush brand.

“We’re not saying that Floof Motors was trying to cut corners,” said one industry analyst, who wished to remain anonymous. “But this whole situation has left a bad taste in our mouths.”

Owners of the affected trucks are being advised to park their vehicles with at least 100 feet of clearance from any structures or flammable objects. In addition, Floof Motors is offering a free upgrade to a flamethrower accessory for all affected customers as a goodwill gesture.

“We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to meet our customers’ needs,” said Crankshaft. “And what better way to say sorry than by giving them a bigger and better way to set things on fire?”

As the recall continues to make waves in the automotive industry, Floof Motors is scrambling to salvage its reputation and reassure customers that the F-150 Thunderstorm is still the top choice for anyone looking to blow off some steam.
