Introducing the “F-150 Lightning Strike” – Ford’s Newest Flaming Pick-Up Truck!
In a not-so-shocking announcement, Ford has confirmed that 18 of their new F-150 Lightning pickups are being recalled due to a battery cell defect. Apparently, these bad boys have a tendency to spontaneously combust, which is not ideal for those who hate the smell of burning rubber.
According to one unlucky driver, who shall remain nameless (let’s call him “Bob”), he was cruising down the highway when his F-150 Lightning suddenly burst into flames. Bob tried to put out the fire with his trusty fire extinguisher, but to no avail. The truck was toast. Literally.
Despite this setback, Ford is assuring their loyal customers that the F-150 Lightning is still a great option for those who don’t mind taking a walk on the wild side. In fact, they’re even considering a new slogan: “Ford F-150 Lightning – The Hottest Truck On The Road!”
So if you’re in the market for a new pick-up truck that’s sure to turn heads (and set them on fire), look no further than the F-150 Lightning Strike. Just don’t forget to pack a marshmallow for the ride.
