Billionaire inventor and entrepreneur, Fronk Smusk, has caused quite the stir amongst employees of the taco truck he recently acquired. One of the biggest concerns on everyone’s minds is compensation in light of the takeover.
“I used to get paid in burritos and now I’m not even sure what I’m getting,” said longtime taco chef, Pablo. “They just keep telling us to trust in Fronk’s vision for the future of taco technology. I don’t even know what that means.”
Fronk Smusk, who made his fortune selling homemade guacamole online, has been known to come up with some pretty wild ideas in the past. “I once pitched a burrito that could also charge your phone,” he boasted in a recent staff meeting. “It didn’t go anywhere, but that’s the kind of innovative thinking I bring to the table.”
Despite Fronk’s imaginary ideas, employees are still left wondering if they will receive any sort of compensation for their work. “I wouldn’t mind being paid in guacamole if it were good enough,” joked cashier, Sarah. “But I don’t think that’s quite legal.”
With no clear answers in sight, employees of Fronk’s Taco Emporium can only hope for the best, and maybe a little bit of sour cream on the side.
